1282853 Oscillator circuits INTERNATIONAL STANDARD ELECTRIC CORP 22 Jan 1970 [30 Jan 1969] 3174/70 Heading H3T In an oscillator circuit, transistors Q 1 , Q 2 have their emitters coupled by a series resonant filter L 1 , C 1 , the base of Q 1 is biased to a fixed potential so that Q 1 operates in its active region throughout the cycle, and Q 2 coupled via a buffer stage Q 3 is overdriven to produce a clipped waveform, which is filtered by L 1 , C 1 to provide a sine wave input to Q 1 and a further transistor Q 4 is provided as a buffer output stage. In operation transistors Q 1 , Q 3 , Q 4 operate in their active region throughout the cycle and when Q 2 is cut off, Q 4 conducts via R 9 , the output being obtained via an autotransformer T. |
