PURPOSE: Provided is a durable, porous processed articles, particularly acoustic panel for area of building materials, for example, for wall, ceiling, mobile partition, and other inner surfaces in commercial and residential building, and a method for producing the same. CONSTITUTION: The panel comprises a cured, foamed, aqueous cement material comprising about 53-68 wt%(in wet) of cement, about 17-48 wt% of water, about 0.05-5 wt% of fiber, and about 0.01-10 wt% of surfactant; and pores distributed in the cured cement material, which comprises about 75-95 vol% of the material. The foamed, aqueous cement material further comprises about 1-10 wt% of fillers, particularly calcium silicate.
