PURPOSE: An indirect touch switch for an electric device is provided to implement a conventional switch operation with concealing it inside of the electric device without extruding the switch to the outside thereof. CONSTITUTION: An indirect touch switch for use in an electric device includes a detection member(10) for sensing an electrostatic charges of a human body when a finger of the human touches or approaches to the selected portion of the external frame of the electric device, an oscillation member(20) an oscillation frequency in response to the change of the electrostatic charges generated by the touch detection member(10) when the finger of the human touches or approaches to the selected portion of the external frame of the electric device, a rectifying member(30) for converting the output signal of the oscillation member(20) into a direct voltage by rectifying the output signal, a differential amplifier(40) for amplifying the direct voltage outputted by the rectifying member(30) and a comparator(50) for the output from the differential amplifier(40) with a reference voltage.
