PURPOSE: A symbol marking method for the rapid reading of a document is provided to improve a reading speed of the document and reduce a mental exhaustion during reading by making successive lines being connected smoothly. CONSTITUTION: For marking the connection between a last word of a corresponding line and a first word of a next line of a document such as an e-book, a PDA(personal data assistant) and the like, various symbols including characters, numbers, figures and colors are inserted into the right side of odd numbered lines and the left side of even numbered lines or on the contrary. In addition, an underline or dark shade is added under the odd numbered lines or even numbered lines.
