PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recorder provided with a ripping editing function with high accuracy for detecting identity between recorded contents and contents for recording. SOLUTION: When audio information recorded on an optical disk is recorded on a hard disk in a hard disk drive 13, the identity between the inherent information of the audio information for recording and history information recorded on the hard disk is checked, and when history information whose contents are the same as those of the inherent information exists, interruption is performed before starting recording and a user, etc., is made to select processing contents of ripping edition. The inherent information is defined as information including at least either work discrimination information for certifying the contents of the audio information in each different work or attached information, the history information is defined as information including at least the work discrimination information and attached information of the audio information recorded on the hard disk, and whether or not the recorded contents having the same as the contents for recording exist is detected by checking the identity between the work discrimination information and the attached information in checking the identity between the inherent information and the history information. |
