PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a backup current in a memory on a control apparatus for vehicle. SOLUTION: In the apparatus, when a main CPU circuit 101 completes operations with turning off an Acc switch 11, data is backed up into a flash ROM 104 by transferring the data from an SDRAM 103 to the ROM 104. When a battery voltage has dropped during data writing into the ROM 104, a CPU circuit 105 for backup control makes the SDRAM 103 back up the data. The circuit 105 has memorized the fact which of the SDRAM 103 or the ROM 104 has backed up the data, and when the switch 11 is turned on the next time, informs the fact to the circuit 101. |
