PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assemble and hold a simply shaped light guide with a light guide mount by one-touch operation, thereby rationalizing the assembly process and improving the indication efficiency. SOLUTION: The indicator comprises an upper case 3 forming an enclosure 2 having a light emitting opening 6 extending from the top face 3a to the front face 3b and a light guide 9 for guiding to the opening 6 a light emitted from a light emitting element 11 disposed in the enclosure 2 having a light guide mount 7 integrated with its inner surface facing the opening 6. The light guide 9 comprises a plate-like guide base 15 and an emission indication piece 16 made of a transparent material into a unified body. The piece 16 is erected on the base 15 in one body and fitted into the guide mount 7 with its top face emission part 16a and front emission part 16b exposed from the opening 6 to guide the light emitted from the emitting element 11 to outside. The upper case 3 has a step 12 defined by an inclined edge 14a and a vertical edge 14b of the guide mount 7 at the lower ends of its side walls of 7a, 7b with a locking protrusion 8 projected to the guide mount 7 in one body on the front face 3b inner surface. |
