PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic camera for properly controlling the driving of a shutter for controlling the light quantity of an incident light made incident to an imaging element, and a shutter for interrupting an inverse incident light from an ocular lens. SOLUTION: When informed that a release button 5 is turned on from an operating part 40, this system controller 100 closes an eye piece shutter 16 via an actuator 34. When this eye piece shutter 16 is closed, the system controller 100 instructs an imaging circuit 24 to start the exposure of a CCD 14. Afterwards, the system controller 100 closes a diaphragm/shutter 12 via an actuator 22, in order to end the exposure, and allows the imaging circuit 24 to execute the reading of the CCD 14. When the reading of the CCD 14 is ended, the system controller 100 opens the diaphragm/shutter 12 via the actuator 22, and opens the eye piece shutter 16 via the actuator 34. |
