PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a producing device of a battery and a producing method thereof capable of easily sealing a battery element by an armor member while restraining generation of sealing failure. SOLUTION: This producing device of the battery is constituted by a bed 11 for holding an aluminum sheet, a moving mechanism 10 for moving the bed 11 to a Y axis direction, a covering mechanism 20 for selectively covering a required part of the aluminum sheet (a part corresponding to a sealing tab), a bending mechanism 30 for bending the aluminum sheet in correspondence with the movement of the bed 11, and a bonding mechanism 40 for bonding the bent aluminum sheet. A battery element 70 is accommodated in a sheet S in a state that the required part is selectively covered with a sealing cover 21. Therefore, a foreign matter is prevented from adhering on the required part of the aluminum sheet by the sealing cover 21. Thus, the generation of the sealing failure of the aluminum sheet caused by the adhered foreign matter can be restrained. |
