PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable stationary induction electrical apparatus iron core, which can suppress loss and partial temperature rise, by preventing junctions between a central main feet and a yoke from being injured, thereby enhancing the insulation property. SOLUTION: The upper junctions 4A and 4B between the main feet 1A and 1B and the upper yoke 2 are made by butting thin silicon steel equally in laminating direction. At this time, for the V-shaped groove 12 at the upper yoke 2, a substantially cylindrical cut 14 is made at the top. The top of the angular part 11 on the side of the main foot 1A ceases to be pressure-contact or collide with the V-shaped groove 12 by formation of the cut 14, and this iron core can prevent the deterioration of the insulation property, avoiding damages to the junction 4A.
