PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize time when the reproduction of a contents main part is stopped and to easily acquire information about automobiles, electric appliances and clothes, etc., that come out in the contents main part. SOLUTION: Video data about a plurality of commercial images related to the contents main part are recorded in addition to the video data of the contents main part in a DVD, and table information including the information of the recording positions and contents of video data about the plurality of CMs is also recorded. When a CM button is pressed down, a menu image for CMs is displayed on the basis of the table information (ST31 and ST35). When one CM is selected in this state, video data about the selected CM is reproduced from a recording medium by referring to recording position information in the table information with respect to the video data about the selected CM (ST36 and ST37). When CM reproduction is finished, the DVD returnes to the original state (ST39 to ST43).
