PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield plate for preventing an increase in the thickness of a dielectric filter without increasing the manufacturing cost of the dielectric filter. SOLUTION: This shield plate is made of metal for being mounted on the dielectric filter 20 and provided with a first plate 11, a second plate 12 extending from the first end part of the first plate in one direction, a third plate 13 extending from the second end part of the first plate in one direction, and a projecting part 14 extending from the first plate in one direction between the second and third plates. The shield plate sandwiches both the side parts of the dielectric filter 20 and can be mounted so as to make the projecting part 14 come into touch with the metalization 30-2 of the dielectric filter, and the entire thickness of the dielectric filter is therefore not increased.
