PURPOSE: To prevent a leak current generating through an organic light emitting layer between a first electrode layer and a second electrode layer constituting a pixel and to obtain uniform luminance. CONSTITUTION: An interlayer insulating layer IL1 is formed between the edge of a first electrode layer AD and an organic light emitting layer OLE which constitute the pixel so as to obtain enough distance between the edge and a second electrode layer CD. The interlayer insulating layer IL1 is made of a resin material with fluidity so as to obtain preferable flatness as a whole. An opening to house the organic light emitting layer OLE is formed in the interlayer insulating layer IL1 so that the organic light emitting layer OLE applied is formed into uniform thickness and a sufficient spread area. |
