PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a very small recording mark on a magneto-optical recording medium. SOLUTION: The magneto-optical recording medium has a recording layer on which a recording mark is formed by recording information and an auxiliary control layer that controls a recording state of the recording layer through magnetic switched connection and the magneto-optical recording medium is realized by placing the auxiliary control layer to a lower part or an upper part of the recording layer.
