PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the acceleration sensitivity of an optical pickup. SOLUTION: The optical pickup has an objective lens 21, a pair of tracking coils 4 fixed at the left and the right of a lens holder and holding the objective lens 21, between them, a focus coil magnetic circuit part which is formed by including magnets 5 and 5' for tracking coils located across each of a pair of tracking coils 4, a pair of focus coils 3 and 13 fixed on the upper and the lower parts of the lens holder and holding the objective lens 21 between them, and a tracking coil magnetic circuit part which is formed by including magnets 7 and 17 for focusing coils located holding each of a pair of focusing coils 3 and 13 between them.
