PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery allowing easy arrangement of an insulator on the bottom part inner surface of a container and increase of the storage space of a generating element such as an electrode group. SOLUTION: This battery is provided with an electrode group 7 including a positive electrode 5 and a negative electrode 6; a container 2 containing at least the electrode group 7 and serving as a positive electrode terminal or a negative electrode terminal; and an insulator composed of at least one insulating member and arranged between the bottom part inner surface of the container 2 and the electrode group 7. The occupying area of the insulator is not more than 50% of the bottom part inner area of the container. |
