PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relieve a processing load on a node and to stabilize topological information stored by each node by minimizing production of a control packet in an optical transmission network configured by the distribution control technology. SOLUTION: In a link configured with optical fibers interconnecting adjacent nodes in an optical transmission network comprising nodes, when an operating state of a wavelength transits from an available state for optical channel setting into a disused state through optical channel setting or from the disabled state for the optical channel setting into the available state through release, the operating state of the wavelength is updated by a table describing the operating state of the wavelength by this method, the method includes a step of setting an intermediate state between both the states, a step of updating the original state of the wavelength operating state into the intermediate state by the node when the state transition is started, a step of writing the table to a storage means, and a step of updating the intermediate state into a new state after the transition is confirmed. |
