PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shutter mounting structure and a disk unit provided with the shutter mounting structure by which a shutter is easily mounted on a front bezel and skill is not needed in mounting work. SOLUTION: In this disk unit having the shutter 49 that is opened and closed together with the insertion/extraction of a disk tray on which a disk is loaded and the front bezel 46 supporting the shutter 49, circumferential parts 493a and 493b and at least one pair of plane parts 492a and 492b are provided on the outer circumferential surface of spindle parts 491a and 491b provided on both end parts of the shutter 49 in a longitudinal direction and for supporting the shutter 49 in a turnable way, guiding groove parts 471a and 471b for guiding the spindle parts 491a and 491b are also provided at the upper parts of recessed parts 470a and 470b provided in the front bezel 46 and for supporting the spindle parts 491a and 491b, and the space between the one pair of the plane parts 492a and 492b is made to be almost equal to the width of the guiding groove parts 471a and 471b.
