PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent insensitiveness caused by a failure of a sensor of a theft detecting device. SOLUTION: When a self diagnosis of the failure of the sensor is performed by utilizing oscillation generating at a start of monitoring investigation of the theft detecting device and the oscillation is not detected within a predetermined time, an alarm indication of the failure is provided. When detection operation of the sensor is normally performed at a start of monitoring, indication as normal is provided.
