PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information terminal, a voice processing method, a program and a recording medium by which an advertising effect by one to one marketing can easily be attained for consumers possessing the information terminal. SOLUTION: When e.g. an incoming call recognition section 100 of a communication state recognition section 200 of the information terminal 50 recognizes a call receiving state, an advertisement sound reproduction program 35 that is downloaded from a distribution enterprise 30 and recorded by an advertisement sound reproduction section 150 can reproduce advertisement sound data 33 similarly downloaded and recorded in an advertisement sound database 130 and output the reproduced data to a sound output section 140. That is, when a phone call or electronic mail or the like arrives in the information terminal 50, the information terminal 50 can reproduce the prescribed advertisement sound-data 33 in place of a ringer tone or a ringer melody or the like. As a result, a user such as a consumer possessing the information terminal can hear the prescribed advertisement sound data 33 without fail every time a phone call or electronic mail or the like arrives in the information terminal.
