PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic capacitor which can endure its use at a high temperature of 150 deg.C. SOLUTION: An electrolytic capacitor is provided with a capacitor element formed by a method, where an anode foil provided with an anode draw-out means, a cathode foil provided with a cathode draw-out means an a separator are wound and the anode foil, the cathode foil and the separator are impregnated with an electrolyte for drive, a packaged case for housing this capacitor element and a sealing material for sealing an aperture formed in this packaged case and as the electrolyte for driving, an electrolyte make of a sulfolane- containing solvent medium is used, and as the sealing material, a sealing material, which is formed by laminating at least a first rubber layer and a second rubber layer compounded with a fluorinated rubber and is vulcanized and bonded to the first and second rubber layers, is used. Accordingly, deterioration of the sealing material and the deterioration of the electrical characteristics of the electrolytic capacitor are suppressed at 150 deg.C.
