PURPOSE: An optical oscillator is provided to obtain an optical element required for a high speed optical communication system and improve the variability of a broadband wireless communication system. CONSTITUTION: An optical oscillator includes a laser driving source(11) outputting a predetermined electric signal, a master laser(12) driven by the electric signal for generating and outputting a first frequency optical signal, an optical circulator(15) having three terminals and outputting the optical signal input from the master laser through the first terminal to the second terminal and outputting light input from the second terminal to the third terminal, and a slave laser(13) driven by the electric signal for generating a second frequency signal and mixing the optical signal input from the second terminal of the optical circulator with the second frequency signal and outputting the generated optical signal through the mix to the second terminal.
