PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk drive in which the light quantity for write can be more easily and reliably set as compared with the conventional practice, a method for controlling the optical disk drive, a program of a method for controlling the optical disk drive, and a recording medium and optical disk having the program of the method for controlling the optical disk device recorded thereon. SOLUTION: The light quantity for write is set from the relationship between the DC level ratio of reproduction signals RF before/after pit strings, etc., are prepared and the light quantity when these pit strings, etc., are prepared. |
