PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device that can conduct summing processing on a personal computer without causing image quality deterioration to an image file outputted from a digital camera. SOLUTION: An image processing program 65 installed in a personal computer 2 reads a plurality of original image data 61 subjected to gamma correction processing by a digital camera and applies inverse gamma correction processing respectively to generate a plurality of linear image data 62. The image processing device applies interpolation processing to the linear image data 62 and applies composite processing including summing processing to generate composite image data 63. The image processing device applies gamma correction to the generated composite image data 63 and stores the result to a hard disk 24 as a composite image file 64.
