PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction cooker which avoids control of reducing the inputted electric power more than necessary, by discriminating caused of displacement of a heated material, such as a cooking pot between those by the levitation force generated from the repulsion magnetic field with respect to the induction heating and those by a user of the heated material, and execut ing a prescribed processing, corresponding to the cause of the displacement of the cooking device. SOLUTION: The induction cooker comprises a high-frequency inverter 7, an induction heating coil 8 connected to the high-frequency inverter 7, and a cooking pot 9; and the cooking pot 9 is induction-heated for cooking by the high-frequency magnetic field generated from the induction heating coil 8; the cooking pot is detected by a pot displacement detecting means 13, and the cause of the displacement of the pot is discriminated by a discriminating means 14, for executing a prescribed process, responding to the cause of the displacement of the pot. |
