PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for operating a power at imaging, capable of realizing power saving in a long time exposure mode. SOLUTION: In this method for operating a power at imaging, exposure is started (S14), whether the exposure is ended is determined (S16), an actual exposure time from the start of the exposure of a camera until the present point of time is measured at continuing of the exposure (S18), and the actual exposure time is compared with a prescribed time Ls, so that whether or not a long time exposure mode is set can be determined (S20). When the determined result is 'NO', the imaging is conducted in a normal exposure mode. When the determined result is 'YES', power is supplied to a part related with the exposure in the long time exposure mode, while power supply to the residual parts is suppressed or stopped (S22). At the ending of the exposure, the ending processing in the normal exposure mode is conducted (S26), and signal reading and signal processing is conducted (S28). |
