<p>PURPOSE: To provide a new cutting machine capable of shortening the time from a confirmation of the residual quantity of a sheet to a start of cutting to shorten the cutting time over the whole operation in comparison with a current cutting machine. CONSTITUTION: This cutting machine is provided with a sheet driving means, a detecting sensor and a cutter means. The sheet driving means and the cutter means are operated on the basis of the predetermined input data to cut the sheet. This cutting machine computes a sheet length to be required for the cutting operation on the basis of the input data, feeds the sheet with the sheet driving means, and detects whether the computed required length of the sheet is loaded or not with the detecting sensor, and performs the predetermined cutting operation on the basis of the input data without returning all of the sheet fed by the driving means.</p> |
