Electronic control of vehicle parking, managed via a mobile phone network in which mobile phone is used to actuate controller placed on vehicles dashboard

Electronic system for control the process of invoicing for vehicle parking time, consisting of a microprocessor, and a program recorded in read only memory, data received by a radio receiver and message display on a liquid crystal screen. The system is actuated and controlled by a portable phone exchanging data with parking management center, through a mobile phone network. A security code permits detection of possible illegal access to the electronic controller. For charging initialization the user after having parked the vehicle starts the electronic controller which has an alphanumeric character display screen visible from the vehicles exterior. The controller being placed on the top of the dashboard. On the mobile phone keyboard the user enters an access code for the parking paying station and sends it to its telecommunication operator. The code includes four characters; 7275 (PARK). The parking station controls the mobile phones number and a control device is linked to it. The parking zone is located by the operator who provides it to the parking management station. The parking zone determine the time charge to be paid by the user. The parking control center controls the validity of the electronic controller, retained by the user, via data exchange with the mobile phone.
