PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for rolling a pipe are provided which are capable of rolling a pipe having thin thickness and circular cross-section without causing of deformation on the cross-sectional shape of the pipe. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for rolling a pipe(16) comprising a group of two or more rolling rollers(10,12,14), a torque generation means for rolling each rolling rollers(10,12,14) on the surroundings of the pipe(16), and a pressurization force generating means for approaching distance between rotational centers of the group of the rolling rollers, the apparatus for rolling the pipe is characterized in that rolling surface outlines of the group of the rolling rollers(10,12,14) are different from each other per respective rolling rollers. In a method for rolling a pipe(16) in which the pipe(16) is rolled by pressing the pipe at two or more points which are distanced in a circumferential direction of the pipe(16) having circular cross-section using a group of two or more rolling rollers(10,12,14), the method for rolling the pipe is characterized in that the pipe is processed as axially varying the rolling surface of each of the rolling rollers(10,12,14). In a method for rolling a pipe(16) in which the pipe is rolled by pressing the pipe at three or more points which are separated in a circumferential direction of the pipe(16) having circular cross-section using a group of three or more rolling rollers(10,12,14), the method for rolling the pipe is characterized in that the pipe is processed as axially varying the rolling surface of each of the rolling rollers(10,12,14) with the central position of the pipe not being restricted.
