PURPOSE: A plastic thin film type electro-luminescence display device and a method for fabricating the same are provided to improve a crystalline characteristic of a light emitting layer by installing a plasma source to an electron beam multi-layer film deposition apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A metal electrode(12) of a stripe shape is formed by aligning a metal shadow mask on a plastic substrate(11). A lower insulating layer is formed on an upper portion of the metal electrode(12) by depositing oxides of SiO2(13a) and Ta2O5(13b) on the metal electrode(12). A light emitting layer(14) of 5000 to 7000 angstrom is formed on the lower insulating layer including SiO2(13a) and Ta2O5(13b). An upper insulating layer including Ta2O5(15b) and SiO2(15a) is formed on the light emitting layer(14). A transparent electrode(16) is formed on the upper insulating layer including Ta2O5(15b) and SiO2(15a).
