PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellular phone to make a user recognize a step of conversion operations and to allow inputting desired characters with a few operations even though there were problems such that for a conventional cellular phone it could not recognize how many times the user executed conversion operations and it was burdensome to push down a conversion key again and again when inputting kanji. SOLUTION: In the phone, a control part 2 displays a first conversion choice in a first display color when the key is pushed down at the first time for inputted character string, and displays a second conversion choice in a red color when the key is pushed down at the second time for the same character string, after that, when the key is pushed down, a display of automatic switching to display a list of conversion choices in a blue color is executed.
