PURPOSE: A washing machine is provided to detachably mount a temporary water storing tub at a lower part of a washing tub for reuse the rinsing water drained from a washing tub again as desired and conveniently maintain or repair the temporary water storing tub. CONSTITUTION: A washing machine includes a first water storing tub(53) filled with water, a washing tub(55) rotatably mounted in the first water storing tub, a water supplying unit for supplying water into the first water storing tub, a driving unit(59) directly connected to the washing tub for driving the washing machine, a temporary water storing tub(70) mounted at a side of the first water storing tub for temporarily storing the water drained from the first water storing tub, and a draining unit for alternatively transmitting the water in the temporary water storing tub to the outside or the first water storing tub. |
