PURPOSE: A mobile communication terminal having a remote control function is provided to output an infrared sensor signal by sensing a key signal inputted through a keypad of a terminal, and to output the infrared signal to various electric/electronic apparatuses by driving an infrared sensor with the infrared sensor signal, thereby remotely controlling the electric/electronic apparatuses. CONSTITUTION: A mobile communication terminal(100) comprises as follows. A power supplier(110) supplies power for a normal operation. A key signal sensor(121) senses a key signal inputted through a keypad(130) of the mobile communication terminal(100). A micro processor(122) outputs a control signal for driving an infrared sensor according to the key signal sensed in the key signal sensor(121). An infrared sensor driving circuit(140) generates a driving signal for driving the infrared sensor according to the control signal outputted from the micro processor(122), and drives the infrared sensor. An electric/electronic apparatus(200) operates according to an infrared signal outputted from the infrared sensor driving circuit(140).
