PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer installer which performs access to a home page with a simple operation where information necessary for a user appears when a printer driver is installed in a PC. SOLUTION: When the printer driver is installed, a file where the link destination address of support information concerning a printing controller is described and which is read by an Internet browser is provided as the file to be installed. The installer for installing the printer driver is provided with a storage step for storing an HTML file in a computer and a step for arranging a shortcut which indicates the file stored in the storage step in a folder which expresses the desktop of the computer.
