PURPOSE: A robot hand member and a manufacturing method of the robot hand member are provided to improve precision and rigidity of a robot hand member. CONSTITUTION: A robot hand member(16) makes a form on which a cross section is formed in a hollow rectangular shape and at least one rib(16B) extending along between longer sides of the cross section and extending in the longitudinal direction of an inside space is formed in the inside space of an FRP(Fiber Reinforced Plastic) made constitutional member(16A) extending in the longitudinal direction. Consequently, each of the longer sides of the cross section is connected to each other through the rib. Additionally, dents roughly at a central part of the longer sides are reduced as the rigidity is improved, and precision is improved. Additionally, the robot hand member is easily manufactured by arranging rectangular cross-sectional core materials on both sides of a rectangular cross-sectional shape rib constitutional member.
