PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve both the pull-out facility of a sub-board and the ventilation of cooling air compatibly. SOLUTION: The electronic apparatus comprises a cabinet, a back plane board, a connector on this board, a sub-board 9, a connection plate fitted and connected to the connector at the lower end of the sub-board 9, a guide 13, a rack gear 15 and a rotary shaft 25 having a pinion gear 21. The guide 13 moves in approximately the vertical direction between an upper and lower positions in a sub-board housing 31 so as to slidably engage with the sub-board 9 at the upper position and guide it approximately horizontally to a provisionally mounting position, and moves from the upper position to the lower position to approximately vertically move the sub-board 9 from the provisionally mounting position to a completely mounting position. The rack gear 15 is fixed to the guide 13 and the rotary shaft 25 has the pinion gear 21 meshed with the rack gear 15 and is rotatably supported, relative to the frame. Forward rotation 200 of the shaft 25 moves the guide 13 from the lower position to the upper position through the pinion gear 21 and the rack gear 15, and reverse rotation 201 of the shaft 25 moves the guide 13 from the upper position to the lower position.
