PURPOSE: A method of storing digital contents of a digital broadcasting receiver is provided to move contents stored in the first storage medium to the second storage medium only for a system that authenticates deletion of the original contents stored in the first storage medium. CONSTITUTION: In case that contents prevented to be replicated, stored in the first storage medium, are moved to the second storage medium, the value of a bit of a replication control code contained in the contents is read, the bit determining if movement of the contents is allowed or not(S12). It is judged if the contents are movable or not according to the read value(S13). When it is judged that the contents are not movable, the movement of the contents is abandoned(S14). When it is judged that the contents are movable, the contents are replicated to the second storage medium(S20). When the replication of the contents is completed, the original contents stored in the first storage medium are deleted(S21).
