PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that can prevent occurrence of excess charge on a communication user in the case that a communication line is disconnected during data communication with a personal digital assistance and the communication user again connects the line and continues the data communication. SOLUTION: The communication management method that manages data communication conducted between a data communication unit and a personal digital assistance via a communication network including a radio communication network, includes a step of managing whether or not the data communication between the personal digital assistance and the data communication unit is interrupted due to disconnection of a communication line, and a step of clearing the charge imposed on the interrupted data communication by the disconnection of the communication line between the personal digital assistance and the data communication unit within a prescribed time from the completion of the normally finished data communication when the data communication between the personal digital assistance and the data communication unit is normally completed.
