PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure temperature for all the batteries and improve safety for abnormal temperature increase of the batteries. SOLUTION: In this camera, a battery chamber is formed by combining a battery chamber unit 20, mainly comprising of the battery chamber with a front cover. The unit 20 is formed by a first battery chamber member 21 and a second battery chamber member 22. A separator part 22B of the member 22 restricts the movement of all the batteries to be contained in the battery chamber and is arranged approximately at the center of the battery chamber. A temperature element 25, that substantially breaks current when the battery temperature reaches a predetermined temperature, is engaged with inside of the part 22B. Thereby temperature for all the batteries can be measured accurately, and the safety for abnormal temperature increase of the batteries can be improved.
