PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase output capacity, without changing the thickness and decrease uniformity of shunt current due to the difference in temperature property of unit cells which are connected in parallel. SOLUTION: This pack battery contains plural unit cells 3 as thin-type cells, arranged in a two layer laminated structure made of a first layer unit 6 and a second layer unit 7. The unit cells 3, forming the unit 6, are arranged in parallel on the same plane in an attitude of putting the positive and negative electrodes respectively in the same directions and are connected with each other in parallel via a fist lead 8. The unit cells 3, forming the unit 7, are arranged in parallel in the same plane, in an attitude of putting the positive and negative electrodes respectively in the same directions and are connected with each other in parallel via a first lead 9. The units 6, 7 are laminated in a two-layered manner in an attitude putting the unit cells 3 in parallel, and the unit cells 3 of the units 6, 7, connected in parallel with each other, are connected in series with each other.
