PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that PDA does not have a telephone function, and that a call does not arrive in accordance with the type of an opposite machine and cannot respond to an incoming call by confirming the opposite picture of a caller and a call cannot be made by viewing the expression of an opponent in a conventional device. SOLUTION: A reception signal which is received by an antenna 20 and is taken out from a PDC part 19 is supplied to a sound input/output part 11. A signal processing for sound is performed, and sound from an opposite terminal is emitted and is supplied to a machine type discrimination part 15. Then, it is discriminated whether an identifier exits in the reception signal or not. When the machine type discrimination part 15 discriminates that opposite terminal equipment is the same type as self-equipment, the picture signal of the picture (face picture in a usual case) of a caller, which is image-picked up by the image pickup part 12 of opposite terminal equipment with a sound signal. Thus, a moving picture processing part 17 extracts the picture signal from the reception signal and a prescribed signal processing is performed on it. The signal is supplied to a display part 18 and the moving picture of the caller is displayed on a real time basis.
