PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device which reliably performs stable data read and data write by improving focusing control. SOLUTION: The optical disk device having a data reproducing means 11 to reproduce data, a focus actuator driving means 12 to impart prescribed focus actuator driving voltage to a focus actuator, and a focusing control function, is also provided with a voltage imparting means 13 to impart present focus offset voltage to the focus actuator and a retrial processing means 14 to determine whether or not the data is normally reproduced and reproduce the data again when it is determined that the data has not been normally reproduced.
