The respirator mask, designed to cover the wearer's nose and mouth and comprising a rigid shell (1), fastenings to attach it to the wearer's head, a feed tube (4) for a breathable gas, and a semi-supple rim (2), has an additional thin and very supple seal lip (3), e.g. of latex, covering all or part of the mask's periphery. The lip (3) is at least 10 times as supple as the mask rim, is located inside the mash and projects at least a millimetre beyond the edge of the rim, applying a pressure against the wearer's face. The supple seal lip can be in the form of a detachable and easily-replaceable assembly with an optional rigid support. |
