PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give no musically unnatural influence even when assignment processing for securing a sound generation channel is performed by forcibly muting a musical sound signal in sound generation. SOLUTION: When eight sound generation channels of a sound source LSI 8 are all in sound generation and MIDI data of a new sound generation event are inputted through a MIDI interface 7, a CPU 1 calculates the priority of the sound generation event according to the kind of control data giving musical effect and the respective sound generation parts and assigns the new sound generation event by forcibly muting the sound generation event of a sound generation channel when the priority of the new sound generation event is higher than the lowest priority of the sound generation event in the sound generation. |
