PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic musical instrument which does not cause any deviation between automatic accompaniment and beat display and bar display even in the case of starting, halting or altering the automatic accompaniment during its recording, and can record and reproduce while keeping synchronization. SOLUTION: The electronic musical instrument is provided with a sequencer part 10 for recording performance data generated by operation of keyboard 14 as sequence data, an automatic accompanying part 10 for generating automatic accompaniment sound based on automatic accompaniment data, and a control part 10 for generating a reset BAR mark for synchronizing the operation of the sequence part with that of the automatic accompanying part at the split of a bar to record it as a sequence data, and synchronizing the operation of the sequencer part with that of the automatic performing part. |
