PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security system having a request function capable of issuing a status check request before receiving a visitor when some concern is felt regarding the visitor. SOLUTION: This system has a request input part for requesting status check, a cancellation input part for canceling input of the request input part, a timer means for starting time counting by input of the request input part and stopping time counting by input of the cancellation input part, a communicating means for reporting to a security center through a communication line, and a control part for sending a request signal of status check to the security center when the timer means counts a predetermined time.
