PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital radio broadcast receiver that can easily and surely download data desired by a listener and to provide a data transmission method in a digital radio broadcasting by which the listener can surely download the data. SOLUTION: The digital radio broadcast receiver is provided with a single or a plurality of tuners 51 to receive a digital radio broadcast program broadcasting audio and contents data. The receiver can set conditions including channel information at downloading of broadcast data, and when a user operates a quick download button, the receiver downloads data received by the tuner 51 under a preset condition. The downloading is carried out by using a decoder 52 to demodulate the data and storing the demodulated data into an image storage memory 37 without converting the digital information data. Furthermore, in the data transmission method, data distribution relating information (data distribution start timing and a channel to distribute data or the like) is superimposed on a digital radio broadcast program before transmission of the data and the resulting program is broadcast. |
