<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To divide into groups a plurality of lighting controllers with an illuminance sensor for dimming control on a luminaire, determine one of the plurality of lighting controllers of each group as a master unit and the others as slaves, and control a dimming percentage of each slave unit from the master unit. SOLUTION: The plurality of lighting controllers, 1 which have a lighting control part for comparing a measured value of the illuminance sensor 8 and a brightness set point set in a setting storage part 14 and outputting a dimming command of dimming percentage, that sets the measured value of the illuminance sensor 8 at the brightness set point and a dimming signal output part 15 for outputting a dimming signal to the luminaire 3, according to the dimming command from the lighting control part, are divided into one or more, or an arbitrary number of groups. One lighting controller out of the lighting controllers of each group is set as the master unit, and the others are set as slaves units. The master unit outputs an illuminance monitoring request to the slave unit at given time intervals via a communication line 2, and the slave unit executes dimming control on the luminaire 3 according to the dimming signal, based on the dimming command of dimming percentage from the master unit.</p> |
