PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high sensitivity photodetector conveniently dividable into pixels and an optical sensor composed of the photodetector. SOLUTION: The photodetector comprises a plurality of rows of electrically insulated acting electrodes, a charge transfer layer and a plurality of rows of electrically insulated counter electrodes. The acting electrode includes a photosensitive layer containing a semiconductor sensitized with pigments and each row of acting electrodes faces each rows of counter electrodes at a specified angle. The optical sensor is composed of the photodetector. |
