SOLUTION: Image data, specified for high-speed writing by a user, high- capacity image data obtained by shooting in a high image quality mode, and the like are stored at a position near the head standby position (high-speed access region), so that the moving time of the head is shortened and the writing time is relatively shortened. Image data with a user's instruction of high reliability in image image after storage, image data taken in a high image quality mode and which can be predicted as being important and the like are stored on the inner circumferential side (high reliability access region) with high reliability after storage for the data, so that the reliability of the image data after storage is relatively enhanced.
